Suicide songs

Songs not to be heard before a suicide.

If you are on a very low point in your life and as soon as you feel the thought of ending life her and now are at bay. You try to fight it and divert your mind by listening to some good music. But if you expect music to lift the soul out of the abyss then be sure it also has the power to make you fall in love with it. Let us hope these are not the songs you come across in such situtaions.

1. Theme of “Assasination of Jesse James by the coward Robert Ford”: Don’t mind the long unartistic name because it’s a great movie but it’s the soundtrack that take you in a trip and leaves you in the darkness slowly letting you embrace it. Has no lyrics since it’s the background music but lets you create your own sad story.

2. Fireflies by Patti Smith : The queen of poetic narrative and capable of adding tune to it. The classic piano intro, symbolism in words, monotony and high length is a classic descend into darkness

3. Aakhri Alvida By string , Shootout at lokhandwala: See the movie and you will now it better. You will accept your guilt but the only means of purgation will seem as if down on the ground from the top of your building.

4. Creep by Radiohead: Honest and brutal confrontation of one-self. The lyrics are the best part because they are not poetic and instead lines straight out of the head of any person.

5. Gloomy Sunday by  RezsÅ‘ Seress : However in Hungarian but many have translated in English as well. If the writer of the song choose not to ask any money or offers in return for the song and instead choose to live in poverty and lonliness, well sure is an honest as f**k song right. Just notice in the interlude how the tune changes from the minor to major key and that explains the art of it.
