The movie ‘Padmavat’ hits the over 500 crore mark making Sanjay Leeela Bhansali proud as a lion. It is obvious that the cast and crew each of them are in paradise, the actors Shaid Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh gave us a tremendous mind boggling performance, playing the key characters they have successfully re-created the past. It seems the famous trio, Bhansali, Deepika and Ranveer have another feather added to their hat with Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani and now Padmavat. All of them had a blast in the box office.
In an interview for DNA Bhansali had said that he wasn’t done with the couple yet, so we might as well can expect another upcoming film. The ace director Sanjay Leela Bhansali has a special place for Deepika Padukone in his mind, he is really keen on working with her again. A recent interview with Bollywood Hungama affirmed this, he said “There is a lot more to her. Lots! Deepika is one of the finest artistes I’ve worked with. Such thehrao and such grace! She never surrenders to melodrama even when there is ample temptation to do so. Look at her speech in front of the women before they commit jauhar. Such control, restraint and so much emotive power without tripping over. I was so overwhelmed by how she handled that scene; I gave her a 500-rupee note after she finished the scene. I am sure that token of my appreciation is more valuable and precious to her than the entire remuneration she got for the film.”, his words of praise for her was enough for us to believe that we mustn’t be surprised if we see Deepika starring in a Bhansali film soon.
