Growing Older Sucks! What Is The Need For Celebrating Birthdays?

What is the need for celebrating birthdays? Why do you want to celebrate your growing up and becoming older every year? I mean, WHAT IS THE POINT?? I just celebrated my "20th" birthday and trust me, I didn't feel happy or excited about it, except for the wonderful gift that my friend gave me. Other than that, no happiness as such. Why? Because I'm growing older. It sucks.

On the top of that, celebrating birthday is quite expensive. Travelling and food will cost you a lot. Other than that, it is just a god damn number. It won't make a difference in your life if you will not celebrate this day. Besides that, we do the same thing again and again on our every birthday. So why to repeat the same thing every time. That makes no sense. Most of us celebrate our birthdays because our family and friends expect us to. We are not keen about celebrating our birthdays but we do because we are expected to.

There's no point in celebrating one day out of 365 or 366 days. Instead, celebrate everyday. We don't need birthdays to feel special and happy or to celebrate. After all, it's just a number. You don't need to give a damn.
