With yet another academic year rolling in, and a new batch of enthusiastic applicants arriving , these are the places which you can often visit with your friends:

1. Bille Di Hatti

Bille Di Hatti is a popular street food joint in North Campus (Delhi University). It is a small food-joint which serves lassi and chole bhature. You can also try Chache Di Hatti in Kamla Nagar, known for its special “aloo wale chole bhature” with signature chaat masala.


2. JP tea stall

It is one of the favorite hangout spot where food is economically priced with a lot of varieties. Moreover, the famous JP tea stall is an added attraction which promises some priceless fun-loving memories.


3. Momos point

It is one of the oldest food joints to have cropped up in Kamala Nagar, the vibrant menu, now consisting of fried momos, tandoori momos, honey chilli potatoes, etc. The ultimate validation for the food, undoubtedly, is the queue outside at any given time of day.


4. South Indian café

If you’re craving some crisp medu vadas, or uthappams, South Indian Cafe is a great option. This neatly tucked away cafe is just adjacent to Gwyer Hall nearly a decade old. It’s run by a middle aged man from Madurai, who insists I call him Anna. It is essentially a few wooden tables put together, which serve mouth watering food.


5. Shagun

If you are craving for Asian food (Chinese, Thai, Tibetan), head over to Shagun in North Campus. a South Asian restaurant in Hudson Line that has been around for 30 years. The ambiance here is amazing and they play Asian music in the background. The service is excellent and it will cost you around Rs 650 for two people meal.


6. Chalte firte momos

Momos in every style, for every taste and for every mood, this is without doubt the fantasy land for momos lovers The shop entails a very cozy background. So, whenever you feel like having tandoori fried or steamed momos head out to this café.
