PM Modi blames Congress for partition, says 'you divided the nation for selfish gains

Prime Minister Narendra Modi played captain's knock today. He assails the Congress in Lok Sabha saying, Grand old party was divided the nation for selfish gains 125 crore Indians suffer even today and if it had allowed Vallabhbhai Patel to become the first Prime Minister of India, the entire Kashmir would have been ours. PM Modi keep launching his mega political attack and says "After independence, right from the start, if you had worked sincerely and honestly for the people of the country, India would have been miles ahead of where it is today. But all you were interested in was to promote one person and his family" He furthermore adds "Congress members wanted Vallabhbhai Patel as the first Prime Minister of the country, but you (Congress) imposed Jawaharlal Nehru. If  Vallabhbhai were elected as our first Prime Minister, there would be no Kashmir problem today,"

Meanwhile, Congress keeps shouting during PM speech. PM Modi ignores Rahul Gandhi's shouting brigade and says "Your slogans and shouting will never be able to stop me. So, you can continue wasting your time,"

PM Modi encountered upon various issues -Democracy, Aadhaar, NPAs, job crisis- in an hour-long address.

Reacting to the Prime Minister's explosive speech in the Lok Sabha, Congress President Rahul Gandhi addressing media and said that it was a political speech but country wanted to hear him on Rafale deal and job crisis.

“PM Modi spoke for an hour, but spoke nothing on Rafale deal,” said Gandhi, adding that, "I think Modiji has forgotten that he is the PM now, he should answer questions and not always accuse the opposition,"
