Indus Treaty Vs Nuclear Missile The conflicts between India and Pakistan is decades old and still persistent. Despite numerous attacks, open fires and cross fires from Pakistan, India was quiet. We were being threatened that Pakistan will target India through their Nuclear weapons if India tries to counterattack, but it is rightly said that innocent people should not be tried to the level that they leave their innocence and become worse. Same thing happened with India, Pakistan had crossed all its limits after the Uri attack. India had also kept quiet for too long and tried to deal with peace and treaties. But now is the time to break the treaties not to make one. Treaties are always bilateral which is not in this case and it would never be. So our government has also brought their sleeves up to break the Indus river treaty with Pakistan. Our Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi said that blood and water cannot flow together. The whole world knows that terrorists from Pakistan attacked in Uri killing 18 Indian soldiers who were incautious. Now is the turn of India. India was in its way of talkings on Indua river water treaty, the treaty which was signed by Indian Prime Minister Jawahar Lal and Pakistan’s Prime Minister Ayub Khan in 1960. According to the treaty, Beas, Ravi and Satluj rivers are to be governed by the India, and Indus, Jhelum and Chenab are to be taken care by Pakistan.

1. Surgical operation of India: The reply of Uri attack

The breaking of Indus river water treaty can adversely affect the economy of Pakistan. Indus water is used for irrigation, power generation and transport purpose. Pakistan was just thinking of these bad effects that how India can break 56 years old treaty, that the news came of surgical attack of Indian army in Pakistan killing 38 terrorists and 5 terrorist camps . Pakistan PM was saying that if Indus treaty is violated , he will report to United Nations. Now he is saying that the surgical attack is just a rumor and no such attack has been reported from its border. India has everytime ignored Pakistan, whether it was Mumbai blasts, or Pathankot attacks. But this time India has taught nice lesson to Pakistan . Now Pakistan should be really aware before threatening with their Nuclear weapons, otherwise if Indus treaty is violated, there will be no Pakistani left to trigger any such weapon. Against of Nuclear Weapons, we have just a small weapon, Indus river water treaty.
