Angel With The Broken Wings

She tries to push open the door,

But captured was she in this umbrageous room.

For their soul held no clemency,

Little did they know she could be their doom.

She lets out a wail but no one can hear,

For they were the deaf with the perfect ears.

She battles through the dead of night,

Little did they know of her hermetic might.

As the first ray of sunshine hit her skin,

Her eyes blazed an outrageous flame.

She felt the efficacy run through her veins,

Little did they know that this was now her game.

She bursts open the door that once held,

Audacious and valiant from all the things,

Saunters down the boulevard with her self – regard,

Little did they know that she was an angel with the broken wings.
