NDA/NA EXAM (1) 2016 -Announced.
National Defense Academy and Naval Academy examination are conducted twice in a year for the Indian Armed Forces (Army, Navy & Air- Force) as per the notifications issued by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission). Generally, the notification for the first exam comes in the month of December for which the exam takes place in the month of April. Similarly, the second notification is published in the month of May and the exam takes place in the month of August-September.
STARTING OF SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORMS: 2nd January 2016
LAST DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORMS: 29th January 2016.
Date of Exam: 17th April 2016.
Candidates can apply Online only, from the website of UPSC www.upsc.gov.in
For what all Posts you can apply: You can apply for Army, Navy and Air Force. However only male candidates are eligible to apply.

NA– 55 [for the 10+2 cadet entry scheme]
APPLICATION FEE : SC/ST/PWD/XS category do not have to pay any fees & General and OBC candidates have to Submit Fee Rs.100/-
MODE OF PAYMENT : Candidate can submit fee online by online banking (till 29.01.16) or offline by generating challan form and submit it in any branch of SBI (till 28.01.16).
AVAILABILITY OF THE ADMIT CARDS- One or two weeks prior to the examination.
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Boys who are currently in class 12 or have passed class 12 can apply. For Army wing of NDA Physics and Math’s are not must in Plus 2 level however for Navy and Air Force they are a must.
AGE: A candidate must lie between 16 ½-19 ½ Years of age. (On the first day of the month in which course is due to commence)
EXAM PATTERN: The written test consists of two papers, Paper I consists of Mathematics of plus 2 levels and Paper II is of General Awareness.
RESULTS: The results for NDA 1 2016 can be expected after one month of the examination.
